🍃 Discover the Abbey of Cordemois
For food lovers, book lovers, and anyone wanting to explore heritage
Officially known as the Abbey of Notre-Dame de Clairefontaine, the Abbey of Cordemois is one of the hidden gems of the Semois valley. Located 2 km from Bouillon, nestled in greenery and serenity, it welcomes visitors seeking authenticity, heritage, and artisanal discoveries.
Since its founding in 1935, the community of Cistercian nuns has lived according to the Rule of Saint Benedict, combining prayer, hospitality, and manual work.
In the workshop
The sisters carefully prepare biscuits, crackers, cramiques (tested and approved ;) ), and delicious cakes 🍪
Made in keeping with monastic tradition, these specialties draw many visitors each year in search of authentic, quality products.
